Linda’s Hair Techniques has been a trusted name in Avondale’s beauty community for years. We provide the best in hair, nails, and spa services to all our clients, including customized hair coloring and tailored haircuts to waxing and spray tans, all while prioritizing you and your style.
Meet Linda Owner of Linda’s Hair Techniques
I fell in love with doing hair at a young age and worked as a shampoo girl in high school. Watching the stylist work really helped my passion grow; how the hair fell into place with every cut and blow dry was mesmerizing. I’ve been doing hair since 1980, and have always loved how fun hair can be – the different textures, colors, and lengths.
I was finally able to open my own salon, Linda’s Hair Techniques, in 1990, and have loved every minute of it. It’s always exciting to work with a client (both new and regulars) to achieve the look they’re after. No two clients are the same, so I always do my best to make sure their experience and overall look are tailored to them. It’s my goal to have you leave the salon not only feeling your best, but feeling as though you were spending time with a friend.

Brittany
Professional Hair Stylist
With 19 years of experience in the beauty industry, Brittany is a dedicated and passionate hairstylist at Linda’s. A graduate of Avon Grove High School and Pulse Beauty Academy, Brittany has honed her craft in a way that blends artistry with personalized care. She takes pride in creating styles that enhance her clients’ natural beauty while ensuring they leave her chair feeling confident and refreshed.
For Brittany, the most rewarding part of her career is the ever-changing nature of hairstyling and the deep connections she builds with her clients and their families. She values the trust placed in her hands and enjoys being a part of life’s special moments, from everyday transformations to milestone occasions.
When she’s not behind the chair, Brittany loves spending quality time with her husband, Stevie, their two-year-old daughter, Kennedy, and their playful puppies, Cody and Cooper. She enjoys crafting, traveling, and making memories with family and friends.

Hours: Tuesdays 9am-2pm, Wednesdays 9am-3pm, Thursdays 9am-8pm, Fridays 9am-5pm, and Saturdays 8am-12pm

Professional Hair Stylist
I was born and raised in Kennett Square, PA and grew up on a mushroom farm. I attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Kennett High School in 1970.During high school, I worked Saturdays at Esther’s Beauty Salon in Avondale. After graduation I attended The Academy of Hair Design in Wilmington, Delaware. I began my cosmetology career at Longwood Beauty Salon and worked there for 29 years until they closed. I then worked at A Cut Above Longwood for another 23 years. I am now enjoying my time working at Linda’s Hair Techniques. Over the years, I have met and served so many wonderful people who have become like family to me. So many friends ask me why I’m still working at 73 years old. The answer is easy…I love what I do, I love the people, the camaraderie, and I love making my client feel good about themselves as they walk out the door. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, working in my yard, and spending time at my beach home in Wildwood, NJ.

Lina
Professional Hair Stylist
Hi! My name is Lina, and I have been working at Linda’s Hair Techniques since 2021. I graduated from Schilling Douglas School of Hair Design. I was born and raised in Landenberg, PA and have always loved all things beauty. I am engaged and planning my wedding for December of 2025! I have worked multiple different positions at Linda’s and enjoyed every role I have had here!
When I’m not at work, I enjoy hanging out with my fiancé, Eli and his K9 dog Harper, or hanging out with family and friends. I enjoy traveling, whether somewhere I’ve been many times or somewhere new!
Hours: Tuesday: 9am- 8pm, Wednesday 9am-3pm, Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-5pm, and Saturday 9am-12:30pm
